A frog outlaw in a red bandana aims a revolver under a low sun while a posse rides the ridge
Dry Creek 1889

TheVultures

Dry Creek, 1889. The railroad came through and brought the money with it: a stagecoach every morning, a bank with a lazy lock, the mail train, and once a month the federal gold train. Every job posts its odds before you ride. Three of every hundred coins staked burn on the spot, win or lose. The rest pays at exactly those odds, out of a vault that only trading fees can fill.

The Jobs

Four targets on the board tonight. Every one posts its odds before you ride, and every one has the same expected value: minus three percent, which is exactly what burns.

The Gang

Card sharps, safecrackers, a crooked sheriff and at least one ghost. 22 of 777 drawn so far, every one a full render.

The Vault

The vault holds the coin that pays winners. Trading fees fill it and nothing else does. It takes no cut of any ride, and it can never be emptied by one.

Fair Play

We commit to the outcome before you choose, and hand you the seed afterwards. If the numbers don't add up, you'll know before we do.

Don't trust us. Check.
  1. We commit

Ask for the odds and the server draws a 72-character seed, locks it away, and shows you sha256(seed) plus a nonce. The outcome is fixed from here.

  2. You choose

Job and stake are yours. Nothing you pick can move the seed, and we can't swap it without the hash changing.

  3. We reveal

The roll is the first 8 hex of sha256(seed:wallet:job:nonce) as a number, mod 10000, ÷ 100. Under the odds wins.

  4. You check

Paste it below. The seed hashes to the commitment you saw, and the roll comes out the same. Or we lied.

Or in a terminal
echo -n "$SEED" | sha256sum
# must equal the commitment you saw

echo -n "$SEED:$WALLET:$JOB:$NONCE" | sha256sum
# first 8 hex → integer → mod 10000 → ÷ 100
